Martechnic® has announced it will be at the Marine Maintenance World Expo in Brussels. The world’s only exhibition and conference dedicated to marine maintenance, repair tools, technologies and services, opens its doors from 14 – 16 October, with more than 50 speakers presenting must-see papers.
Martechnic®, which specialises in oil quality management and condition monitoring, will be exhibiting from booth 5030. While representing portable equipment for vessels, we invite all interested people to visit us and talk about expedient technologies or concepts; condition in cylinder drain oil, lube and hydraulic oil is one of our main topics.
Nothing is more important for a vessel than being operational and economical. Density and viscosity are relevant criteria when bunkering. The condition of fuel and lube oil are crucial to avoid the high costs of machine repairs caused by breakdowns. Water in oil is still the omnipresent enemy to every mineral oil application.
All our portable test kits have been designed to be quick and easy in operation and are available in different sizes and configurations. They do not fully replace laboratory analysis devices, but complement them.
Permanent oil condition monitoring on-board is possible with the MT Modular Monitoring System. The assembly of various sensors connected with a data-logger monitors the water content, viscosity and particles on the same engine, and offers operators and manufacturers advanced warning and peace of mind in lube oil management.
Martechnic® naval engineer Stefan Lagner will perform a presentation on 14 October at 11:30am on marine maintenance, titled “Sensor versus chemical kits”.
