Our specialised, patent pending and sustainable testing equipment MT COOLANT offers chemical-free and environmentally friendly assessments of the engine coolant quality in the global shipping sector and beyond. No chemicals are required any more. Instead, we use the electrotechnical apparatus with specialised steel and stainless-steel electrodes to analyse the water-based coolants with just one measurement through a single coolant sample in a simulated engine cooling system. The test results are delivered in just 15 minutes, including precise maintenance recommendations with the dosing rate of the chemical additive to be added, if required. Therefore, unnecessary coolant changes can be eliminated, and more efficient maintenance schedule can be implemented.
Another new project of Martechnic is the test kit MT UREA CHECK designed to provide prompt quality monitoring of urea-based marine diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) AUS 40 in accordance with ISO 18611-1:2014.
