Seaspeed undertakes sponsored maritime R&D and collaborates in joint industry projects.
Recent examples of such programmes include development of an high-speed craft (HSC) incident database for the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), testing of unmanned surface vehicle designs for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and commercial organisations, development of wave foils in association with Rolls Royce via Innovate UK and catamaran transfer vessel (CTV) performance validation for the Carbon Trust.
