Pemamek and Edison Chouest Offshore (ECO), a major US offshore marine transportation corporation, have agreed on an annual service support package to ensure continuous, optimal utilisation of PEMA panel lines, robotic welding stations, and welding portals at four of ECO’s US shipyards. The yards under contract are North American Shipbuilding in Larose, LA, Gulfship in Gulfport, MS, LA Ship in Houma, LA, and Tampa Ship in Tampa, FL.
The service support package consists of software support, maintenance services, and spare part services. Support services for software products include software support, technical support, knowledge network management, equipment register, and follow-up inspections.
Scheduled maintenance work and service inspections of all PEMA products at ECO’s facilities will be carried out on machine-specified maintenance program twice a year for each shipyard and for each PEMA machine section. The agreement also covers availability, logistics and stocking of genuine, high-quality spare and wear parts.
